I don't hate him at all. I've never listened to his music but from some interviews I've seen/heard of his I think he seems like a sweet kid.
People complain that they hate him 'cause his music is bad but the bottom line is that it sells. The ones I'm annoyed about in this situation are the people of this mass-produced, surface society of ours that are buying into this type of music. If the public had a higher standard then Justin Bieber would either not be the star that he is or he would be produced with a different style. You can't blame people for wanting to actually be successful or making a profit. The same goes for nay sayers of Glee. The goal of groups such as these is to be be a success; it's the public's responsibility to dictate what types of music are successful.
... plus I heard that in an interview, when he was asked if he would want US citizenship, he said no. When asked why, he quietly and jokingly said it was because America is evil. LOL ^u^ ! For a kid like him to have the guts to say that openly is amazing and I respect him for that.
I don't hate him. I'm not the type to hate an artist. Hate is too strong to be placed on an artist I don't even know personally.
The reason I'm not a fanatic over Bieber is because 1. I'm into Asians (it's a personal preference) 2. He looks like a fetus (lol jk) 3. He's too young to even be singing about love (and 70% of songs are about love)
Okay. He debuted with "One time" at the age of 15[?] At 14-15, you're not supposed to be having parties in Usher's house and telling a girl you love her... you're supposed to focus on school and actually be responsible but OF COURSE that's NEVER gonna be what kids like.
I don't like that song... but I like his latest song "U Smile" because it's really cute and he's actually older now.
I'll wait until he's 18-19 and his fangirls have actually matured...ugh.
can't say I like him at all... he has "swag" and apparently that's supposed to be cool? and his vocals aren't really as amazing as everyone thinks plus the lyrics to the songs he sings are soooo ridiculous. personally I think any male korean singer is better than him, they have more talent.
I don't hate him - but I don't like his music at all, mostly because it's, to me anyway, bland, generic pop, with lyrics that just bore me. But then again, I'm incredibly picky about my music particularly pop, cause I really don't like much pop any more. I'm a rock fan - when I was in junior high he would have been exactly the kind of music I would have liked, but my tastes have just changed.
His lyrics are kind of good. But I think I hate him because he is over popularized and called himself the Kurt Cobain of our generation. Honestly, I don't understand why he felt the need to make his own movie about himself when the majority of people that fantasize about him are 14 year old girls. I don't care if he looks like he's thirteen and is singing about getting with some chick he just met, I care that he thinks far too highly of himself than he should. Yes, I agree that he is popular, but I don't agree that he is one of the greatest artists of all time. And since he considers himself to be so, I do not like him.
What angered me personally about him is HOW he became famous. He made a repetitive catchy crappy pop song of generic quality and grew to be this 'there's absolutely no way no one has NOT heard of this kid, what the hell happened'. His songs really aren't that good, yet he is EVERYWHERE. How aggravating.
I don't hate him, I just hate his fans. I just think his music would be better if he put his beautiful voice to better lyrics. The lyrics that the studio forces him to sing are all lame and mediocre. But other then that, Bieber is actually really good, and really lucky for getting discovered from youtube.
But not quite as amazing then the man with the golden voice!
I don't hate him, I don't know him, so saying that I hate him would be silly, I'm not a massive fan of his music but he's done nothing wrong so I find it silly for people to hate him. He's the same age as me and I don't think that I'd be able to take all of the hate he gets for no real reason, so I think he's doing pretty well for himself.
I dont 'hate him' but its mostly the fact that his voice has changed but he is trying to keep it as it is kinda annoys me but really the biggest pet peeve about him is his fans they are way way to obsessive about him and actually kinda scary.... Also as a last point I just think he came onto the scene to young.
Justin Bieber himself is a perfectly nice kid and I have no qualms with him. His fanbase though I hate because of how loud and terrifyingly creepy they are. And I hate his music because it's very poorly written and he isn't actually very good at singing.

he started to do these a bit too young. I dont support such. Besides, there are lot of korean pop dancer and singer around even before him and looking like him. He's not that new. + He has the kid face, doesnt match the way he acts. <- my reasoning. I may be sharp but plz excuse me, I'm sleepless and tired today.
I like him. Really I do. His music has a beat and it's catchy easy listening. His music is clean. He actually does have talent. A person wouldn't make fun of a woman f she had a deeper voice so why worry about his voice. If boys start their singing career young then it is much easier of them to retain their high pitched voice. i.e boys choirs. His music is easy to relate to. It's not Beethoven but not everyone can be. Who cares about the personal life. And people who complain about the rabid fan girls? they could just be adults and ignore it. But most people only make fun of someone because belittling them makes them feel superior and better about themselves. And hey, he's 16 years old. give the guy a break! That's my two cents. I don't care if anyone agrees with me.
I don't hate him exactly. I'm just fed up of having him shoved in my face. His music just isn't interesting. And he isn't interesting. Yet he upstages my favourite performers, just because he's a baby-faced star. I suppose mostly it's mental conditioning really. Where there's Bieber, there's hysterical 'beliebers' and whoever the hell keeps marketing him close behind. Wow that's far too much, and I'm the only one of my friends who doesn't want to break his neck.
I don't like his music. Not really found of the kind of genre of music anyway, and the fact that he sings about love and stuff bothers me a bit because hes too young for all that. Also the fact that he has a movie and says about his struggles to the top or whatever. Doesn't seem to me like he had a round childhood since he grew up having all those instruments. I just don't think hes old enough to be giving wisdom though I guess hes a good role model if your young. But it's not that I hate him or anything.

I don't hate him, I dislike him. It's 'cause he can be rather arrogant at times(and he's supposed to be the nice next-door guy) and his songs are really boring... And I don't fancy his baby-face either...
I don't really understand why people hate him so much. Every time I inquire about why someone hates him, my friends don't have a reason. I think it's just one of those bandwagons that if everyone hates him, you don't want to be left out. Sure, I don't love him, but he's okay and I like his music. Some people just don't want to be part of a fad or want to act like they love him the most.
He's Hannah Montana/The Jo Bros' replacement for the biggest tween idol. I never had a strong dislike for him until I saw a youtube video of him during an interview and he didnt know what the word German meant...or something along those lines, its been a while since I saw the video. All I remember is that it was an extravagant display of stupidity and a lack of care about schooling/improving intelligence. He whines that everybody is ripping off his stupid haircut (uh, the stereotypical nice-guy haircut, nothing new , my bf was rocking that 'do long before the little brat was). Seeing him everywhere doesn't exactly help either. Too overmarketed. Just like Twilight.
Hate is a strong word for it xD in my opinion, I strongly dislike him... because his music is just.. myeh. It sucks. I mean, the kid got lucky off youtube.. but still. Not a fan. Any boy nowadays can sing in higher voices and rap and whatever...
I once was invited to a Facebook group "I bet I can find 30000 people who hate Justin Bieber". I joined, corrected the (copious amount) of spelling and grammar errors, and was promptly kicked from the group. To this day, I have only the sketchiest knowledge of who Justin Bieber even is. Tt is entirely possible that I have heard his music and not noticed. What's all the fuss about?
I'm a big fan of Justin, and I think that people generally hate the hype more than they hate the boy himself. Most of his fans are just mental, and I think he's overexposed (like he's everywhere you look) and people probably just get sick of seeing him everywhere.
People say he's a douche and he's let fame go to his head, but if they actually gave him the time of day, they would probably change their minds. For someone so young, and so, so famous, he seems like such a nice, funny, giving person, and I respect him a lot for it. And yeah, his voice was a bit girly, but since he's hit puberty, it just gets sexier and sexier by the day! He has a lot of talent, and I think a lot more people should recognise this.
I think people hate him, because people need to hate what teenage girls like since teenage girls are also quite loud of who and what they like, so people get annoyed. There is more examples of that, like Twilight, Tokyo Hotel, Hannah Montana...
I really don't know. Like I said before, I don't think he deserves all the love or hate he gets. If I had to guess, I'd say people hate him because he's everyone; it's impossible to go a day without hearing his name mentioned at least once.
i think it's more that i hate his stupid lyrics, the fact that girls like him because other girls like him, the fact that there are SO many more talented people than him on youtube, and that he is quite arrogant at times.
Agreed. I don't care for most artists of today. Talent wise, lyric and meaning wise...all those singing artists that treat music as an art and expression not annoying words like "Baby, baby, baby oh" or some sort of money making package, that is told what to wear and all that. :/
This is quite hard to actually put into words and also illogical since feelings are not logical. He appears somewhat unnatural to me, like he is a sort of 'created' idol as if someone put him there rather than him working hard to get there on his own. An example of this would be like your own artworks, getting all worked up because when you stand back and look at it something is off. It could be a line not clean, yet after quite a few close examinations you cannot see it. It is this feeling he gives off and it gives me the creeps thus this is the main reason I dislike him.
